Home 03:54
Home Rocked in this boat for who knows how long Each piece of its wood is keeping me strong Rocked for a while in one certain path Then the wind may drift me into the dark I’ll find the sun again, the big bright blue sky Tropical fish swimming, seagulls that fly Rippling waters and fresh salty air I can’t deny currents that I know are there Who knows when I will drift away from the seventh sea that I have called home. Who knows when I will drift away from the seventh sea that I have called home. Lead me sea creatures, lead me gods to a new place like home. The sky then turns orange as the sun sets The wispy clouds are pink and red As I close my eyes day turns to night I hope that the heavens will show me what’s right Chorus And for the time being I’ll see the world as it is I will wait for you… To drift me away from the seventh sea and show me a new place like Home.

Remembering 04:37
Remembering On a nice day with nothing to do, We'll take a walk outside or two Will you tell me about yourself What the years have done to you Though you're so close You seem so far away I don't know what to say What do you think about my chosen path For me, I wonder if it'll last I looked down to the muddy ground, Not up to the bright blue sky I looked around my shoulder At the people passing by And time, the killing time That's ever expanding further Sometimes I catch your eye remembering Harder, harder. On a nice day with nothing to do I'm walking next to you We share our thoughts on our current lives Pretend the past is just all lies Chorus On a nice day with nothing to do I'm feeling just a little blue Thinking if I hadn't turned my back Would I be sitting next to you

Tears 02:43
Tears Well I did everything I could But there was something you never understood Well I didn’t want to break you heart I just felt that I was following a path in the dark Well there was many a time when you were absent I really felt alone And even when you were present I didn’t feel that I was home Sometimes we’d laugh together As if moments would never go by But you know, you were never able To wipe the tears from my eyes And those times when I thought to go I’d think of you and tell myself no And the thing you need to see Is that I long to have wings, fly and be free Chorus As the days come closing in Distance between us growing thick and thin Now I see there’s a fork in the road And my fingers are itching to let fate unfold Chorus

It Isn’t Fair Finally I’ve got some time to breathe Some time to relax and just some time to live Well I don’t really care what you think It isn’t fair, it isn’t fair Well you know I think it’s you not me The reason that I cannot sleep All those things that are keeping me awake at night All those thoughts, creatures I have to fight, in my mind Though we might be at the stage when life is changing It doesn’t mean we’re capable of anything Well you be careful now ‘cause we might bite We’re like a pack of dogs when we fight Chorus Well some can’t see what we want Don’t understand our way of thinking Can’t they see I am checking my watch Can’t they see we are checking our watches Can’t they see I am checking my watch Can’t they see we are checking our watches Finally I’ve got some time to breathe Some time to relax and just some time to live Well I don’t really care what you think But now it’s fair, now it’s fair copyright Charm of Finches 2014

Ordinary School Girl In the night your mind's eye sees her as a beautiful angel Soft face with an angelic expression But then when you see her you realise you haven’t Found just what you’re looking for ‘Cause she’s an ordinary school girl With her long white socks And her silky hair tied up in a ribbon An ordinary school girl with her pack done up low And her sweet smile fooling you In the day she walks past you winking her eye With a convincing look of sweet passion You wish this loving look to be real But you have some suspicions Chorus Just another pretty face on a slim body Just some other deep blue eyes that can’t see you She can’t even give a guess, who are you She doesn’t even know what you are Chorus An ordinary school girl, ordinary school girl Interested in everyone ordinary or not

Way Back Down The Track Times have changed and we are changing too I can’t deny I was part of the end of me and you And I can see you turning back To that old self you left behind way back down the track I know you want to get rid of the ghost of me I’ll try to stop haunting you, fly away free I’ll try to smack some sense into myself Stop worrying about what you think nor anybody else Maybe I’m just the same as that Old person I left behind way back down the track I’m a bird that’s used to its old cage, not knowing where to go Not knowing where to fly away Should I take a wrong turn when I spread my wings Could end up in a cat’s mouth or some other horrid thing Times have changed and we are changing too
